The full experience — runner, weapons, cores, implants, mods, shield, and equipment all in one builder.

What Is the Marathon Loadout Builder?

The MarathonDB Loadout Builder is a free, interactive tool that lets you plan and share weapon builds, runner builds, and complete loadouts for Bungie's Marathon. Pick weapons, attach mods, choose cores and implants, and preview how every stat changes in real time — before you ever drop into a match.

Every build generates a unique shareable link so you can send your loadout to teammates, post it on Reddit, or save it for later. No account required.

Why Loadouts Matter in Marathon

Marathon punishes you for going in unprepared. You lose your gear when you die, so every mod slot and implant choice actually matters. A bad setup means you're burning through credits for nothing.

The builders on this page let you plan everything out before you queue up. Test mod combos, compare stat changes, and figure out what works for the way you actually play — without wasting runs to find out.

Tips for Optimizing Your Marathon Builds

Match Mods to Playstyle

Aggressive players should stack damage and fire rate mods. If you prefer long-range picks, focus on stability and range. There's no single "best" mod setup — it depends on how you play.

Balance Offense & Defense

Don't dump everything into damage. A runner with maxed firewall and self-repair can survive fights that would kill a glass cannon. Use the stat preview to find your sweet spot.

Synergize Runner + Weapons

Some runners complement certain weapon types. A high-agility runner pairs well with close-range weapons, while tanky runners can hold angles with precision rifles.

Adapt to the Meta

Bungie patches Marathon regularly. Check the weapon tier list and runner tier list to see what's strong right now, then build around it.
