Marathon Update 1.1.5.4 brings the limited-time Ordnance Heist PvPvE event live, bumps loot quality on Ranked maps, and applies a targeted V85 Circuit Breaker nerf. Here's everything that changed — based on the official notes from Bungie.

Ordnance Heist

The Ordnance Heist PvPvE experience is now live. It's a multi-run chase across different zones: take down UESC, pick up Locker keys, and hunt for the Firestorm. Extract with UESC Manifests to spend them in the updated MIDA and Traxus Armories.

  • End date: September 1.
  • Bungie published a full event preview covering the hunt, locker keys, Firestorm, and Armory rewards — read it on Bungie.net.

Firestorm is Marathon's first power weapon. It's a customized Hardline HPR with a sniper scope, incendiary explosive rounds, and a six-shot magazine that cannot be reloaded. Claim it from a Firestorm Locker after collecting three keys, use it during the run, then extract to convert it into credits. After the event ends, Firestorm is set to persist as a possible Supply Drop.

Item Economy

  • Updated Ranked maps to increase the volume and quality of available loot.
  • Developer's Note: More gear will be available, and players should encounter more blue and purple gear.
  • Fixed an issue where players would occasionally still have their Sponsored Kit contents unpacked in the lobby after a disconnect. Warped items have now been re-enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where the available stock of Sekiguchi implants was less than the other factions.
  • Fixed an issue where players could lose inventory items after completing a Rook or Sponsored Kit run with a full Vault.

Combat

Weapons

V85 Circuit Breaker

  • Reduced the effectiveness of the Overclocked Delimiter Prestige Mod when paired with this weapon.
  • Reduced the damage bonus of the Last Resort and Reckless Behavior mods when paired with this weapon.
  • Developer's Note: These temporary changes are aimed at removing unintended one-hit knockdown body shots being possible with these weapons and mods used together.

Outland

  • Fixed an issue where the rate of fire could increase unintentionally when paired with the Mechanized Holsters core.

User Interface and Experience

  • Fixed an issue where players could be defaulted to Crew Fill off when attempting to return to Trios after Solo or Rook runs.

Contracts

  • Fixed an issue where some CyberAcme contracts had mismatched names and objectives.
  • Fixed an issue where completed Cryo Archive contracts could not be claimed after Cryo Archive availability ended.

Localization

  • Fixed a visual display issue with the compass in Italian.
